A church like no other, we have a bring-and-share meal every Sunday at 4:30 pm, bring what you would have on Sundays Nights and we all share a meal together around the word of God, great fellowship, friendship. Join us on Sundays for a great time sharing, learning from God's Word and spending a great time together. - This is a Family Church
ABOUT US
We are part of a group of churches that were formed due to the Pandemic lockdown rules.
Our group of churches are Rangiora Baptist church, Ohoka Church, Woodend and an Evening Church held at 111 East belt.
Our Church in Woodend serves Ravenswood / Woodend / Pegasus in North Canterbury and is open to all people of all ages and backgrounds. We lead our congregation in worship, deepening the connection to God, understanding the teachings of Christ, and ultimately to a vibrant faith. We see ourselves as a true family, caring about each other, loving, and being one under Christ Jesus our Lord.
We hope your faith will be strengthened as you encounter teaching from God’s Word. However, the truths you hear are not meant to stop with you. You are encouraged to teach them to others as you meet one-on-one with friends and colleagues or as you gather in small groups. Woodend Community Church is passionate about making disciples.
